La Sorme from the dike

Start from the dike of the pond at Sauvage d'en Haut.

(S/E) Cross the dike.

(1) Turn right towards Vèvre d'en haut and follow this road to the end.

(2) At the junction, turn left towards Le Vaudiau, cross this hamlet and continue for about 200m.

(3) Leave the road and take the forest track on the left, passing under a power line. Cross the Bois des Sapins to a crossroads with a "Chemin communal" sign.

(4) Turn left onto Route Poissons. Leave the access to Les Fermes des Poissons on your right. At the next fork in the road, turn left to reach the Forêt Ronde junction (elevation 308).

(5) Turn left and follow the road to the lake dike.

(1) Just cross the dike and you're back at the starting point (S/E).

This is a pleasant, easy walk with little change in altitude.
It's mainly on asphalt, but with almost no traffic.
A section on a forest track takes up 1/4 of the distance.
