Description of the walk

Start: Parking Steel Rigg Car Park, Henshaw, Northumberland (NE47 7AN) Grid ref. NY 751 676

(S/E) From the car park, take the path at the left end of the car park going in the direction of the wall (East). Go up the path following the wall passing by the famous sycamore gaps.

(1) Continue straight on this path for around 5.5 Km before seeing a path on your left-hand side.

(2) Leave the Hadrian Wall trail to take the path on the left (North-East) going to a farm. Pass the farm and walk for 240m or so.

(3) Then take left and continue straight West-South-West across fields to walk back to the car park. Livestock can be present in these fields. (S/E)
