We did the circular Göreme tour, passing through Pigeon Valley, Uçhisar and Love Valley… and we’d definitely recommend it!
The walk is fairly accessible, although the climb up to Uçhisar is quite a challenge. We took our time, stopping for photos and drinks, yet still managed to complete the route within the recommended time.
The signposting isn’t always very clear, but many of the small paths converge quite quickly or a little further on, so it’s hard to actually get lost. If in doubt, the locals are very welcoming and won’t hesitate to point you in the right direction.
The trail is generally quiet, which is very pleasant. However, there are a few more people at the must-see spots such as Uçhisar or Love Valley.
The scenery is absolutely stunning and changes throughout the route, offering very different views depending on where you are. An incredible hike that we’d recommend to anyone visiting Cappadocia!
