A short memorial hike to visit the most impressive mine crater of the Great War, the result of an explosion triggered on 1 July 1916, the day the Battle of the Somme began. A well-appointed memorial site with numerous information panels.

More than a century later, certain remnants still bear witness to the appalling conditions in which they lived.
