Description of the walk

From the park entrance, take the road heading north and continue until you reach the Devil's Garden car park. The views along this road alone are breathtaking.

(S/E) From the car park, enter the gorge. Follow the sandy track until you reach a three-way junction.

(1) Go down to the right to reach two viewpoints of the first arches about 100 m further on: Pine Tree Arch on the left and Tunnel Arch on the right. Then return to the main path.

(1) Resume the circuit by turning right and continue to a three-way junction.

(2) Here you will have a magnificent view of Landscape Arch. Leave it on your left, you will see it again later, and turn right. Continue to the dry creek bed.

(3) Here begins the part where you get lost in a maze of rocks and sand. Turn left and follow the crosses carved into the ground and the cairns.

(4) At the end of the path, climb up the wall on the left, then follow the path that loops to the left and heads south to reach the superb Double O Arch.

(5) Continue along the path, climbing over the rocks.

(6) At the intersection, turn right to reach Navajo Arch and Partition Arch.

(7) Return to the main trail.

(6) Continue the loop by turning right, passing Landscape Arch again and rejoining the route you took earlier.

(2) Continue right and follow the same route you took on the way there to arrive at the Devil's Garden car park (S/E).
