Walk through Rowberrow Warren which is a beautiful woodland, set on a hillside with large paths.
Use car park facing the Swan Inn.
(D/A) The walk starts in School Lane. Walk until the paved road split and turn on the second path on your left.
(1) When the path splits, take the path on your right and then, take the wide path that goes up and straight.
(2) Follow the path on the left. At the first intersection, keep going straight to the second intersection where you'll go right and right again at the next intersection.
(3) Take the first path on your left which goes down. This part of the walk might be really muddy and therefore slippery.
(4) Turn right.
(5) Look for a small path on your left and take it. After a few meters, you will walk along with a small water court.
(6) Turn right on the path that climbs to the West Mendip Way. When you're at the top, go right and walk down. The path will join a paved road. Follow it until you reach the car park (D/A)

Nice walk through woodland and moors. Track was a bit muddy in places but if you have good boots on not a problem. We deviated form the rout a little bit to take advantage of the spectacular views from the top point of the Mendips, well worth doing,
Sorry to read that !

We were disappointed with the directions for this walk, more land marks needed as it wasn’t clear which path we had to take from the beginning of the walk.

Lovely walk. Nothing majorly challenging, a few uphills and some stunning views. I’d add pictures but there doesn’t seem to be an option.
A fine hillfort then a pretty streamside walk along a wooded valley, with attractive villages along the way.
A short, level walk along a former railway line and green lanes to a historic spring and village church.
A superb expedition through historic Axbridge to one of England’s most spectacular landforms.
Fine views from the Mendip ridge, with an easy return through a disused railway tunnel.
An energetic climb from a pretty village is rewarded by superb views over the Somerset Levels.
From Railway Inn, the walk includes 3 short but stiff climbs, plus 3 stiles. First climbing up Sanford Hill, Lyncombe Hill and Mendip Trail to Sandford Quarry. It later follows a track past site of a Roman Villa before descending to Railway Inn.
This Somerset walk includes a wonderful ridge walk along the West Mindop Way to the summit of Crook Peak. The return route passes through the villages of Compton Bishop and Cross.
A disused railway and tunnel, a local nature reserve with orchids and ancient trees, and a wooded return.
