Description of the route

Departure from the car park at Écoinçon beach in Cressin-Rochefort.

(S/E) Leaving the car park, turn right to join the Via Rhôna. Follow it to the right until you reach the bridge over the Lit au Roi. Follow the shared path to cross the bridge.

(1) At the other end of the bridge, turn right onto the Via Rhôna, pass under the bridge and continue until you see the sign for Lac de Barteland 3 km away, a few metres after the restaurant on your right.

(2) Turn right onto the D992 (watch out for cars) and, just after the restaurant car park, take the left-hand uphill road, the D37, towards Lac de Barterand.
