Chapelle Saint-Ferréol (Bourg-Saint-Andéol) walks

A circular route that takes you from one drystone shelter to another on the heights of Bourg-Saint-Andéol, offering lovely panoramic views of the Rhône Valley, Mont Ventoux and the Provençal Baronnies, before returning via the charming Val de Tourne. As the return leg is partly through an urban area – albeit on quiet roads – this route should be avoided in very hot weather. It is best to walk it after periods of rain, which will have fed the Tourne and its Vaucluse resurgence. The route, which largely follows the GR®42, also features yellow and white PR® signposting. As the path through the drystone shelters can be somewhat unpredictable, the use of a GPS is recommended.
