Nice walk from Brink Farm to Lyme Hall passing through small parks.
(D/A) Start on the Gritstone Trail near Brink Farm. Continue along the track to Bowstonegate enjoying some spectacular views.
(1) Turn left down the hill to Lyme Park. If you wish, once in Lyme Park, take a small detour to see the house and grounds.
(2) Turn left along the road until reaching Knote car park. Go through the gate and follow the track through Hase Bank Wood and exit onto Shrigley Road.
(3) Turn left and then left again directly after the Methodist Church and continue up a steep footpath to Moorside Lane.
(4) Turn right and then left just past Keeper's Cottage and continue up the hill until reaching the Gritstone Trail again.
(5) Turn right and back to the start of the walk. This is quite a strenuous climb.(D/A)
