Departure from the Rohan car park in Saverne, which offers around 400 free spaces. It is also possible to start the route from Saverne train station.
(S/E) With your back to the car park, turn right, then take Rue de l'Orangerie on the right. Continue straight ahead until you reach Rue des Sablonnières on the right.
(1) Take this road, then turn left onto Route Romaine and continue to Rue du Centre Nautique.
(2) Opposite, take the cycle path built on the old railway line connecting Saverne - Romanwiller - Molsheim and follow it.

(4) Please note: a section of approximately 2 to 3 metres is not yet paved. If you are riding a hybrid bike, the small stones may force you to dismount.
(4) At the end of Rue de la Chapelle, turn right onto Rue des Jardins. Then turn left onto Rue du Tunnel and continue onto Rue des Champs. Then rejoin the cycle path on the right.
(6) At the carpool area, continue right onto the D917, exercising caution.
(7) Rejoin the cycle path at the Romansviller bus stop and continue along it until you reach a carpooling area near a roundabout.
(8) Continue on the cycle path that runs alongside the D422, then take the underpass beneath it.
(9) At the waste collection centre, turn right and continue straight ahead, following the Mossig valley until you reach a four-way junction at a picnic area.
(10) Turn left (EV5), then follow the Bruche Canal.

(12) Continue along the banks of the Ill.
(13) At the power lines, turn left towards Neudorf, go under the railway bridge, continue to the right and cross the bridge over the Ill.
(14) Immediately afterwards, rejoin the cycle path that runs alongside the Rhône-Rhine Canal.
(15) Continue along the Marne-Rhine Canal.
(16) At the bridge over the canal, turn right, then left after the Aars.
(17) Continue along the left bank of the canal. View of the European Parliament. Follow the Marne-Rhine Canal, sometimes on the right, sometimes on the left.
(18) Pass the Souffel.
(19) Continue along the canal to the Rohan car park in Saverne (S/E).
