Starting point: car park on Rue des Seguins, in Ruelle-sur-Touvre.
(S/E) Follow Route des Seguins towards no. 500, then reach the banks of the Touvre by crossing the ZAC des Seguins-Ribéraux. Pass at the foot of Building 87 of the ZAC des Seguins (Eiffel style).
(1) Head towards the heights of the town of Ruelle, in the direction of Viville (municipality of Champniers), passing successively through Rue François 1er, then left onto Rue du Pont-Neuf, at the roundabout, right onto Rue Léo Lagrange, then left onto Rue de Vaugeline and, continuing straight on, Rue du Champ de Tir.
(2) Pass under the bridge crossing the N141, continue along Chemin de Viville (ignore the path on the left).
(3) At the crossroads, turn right onto Rue des Léchères and follow the road.
(4) Continue straight ahead at the junction with Rue de la Sauge until you reach the end of the path where it meets Rue de la Ciboulette. Turn left, then take thesecond right onto Rue de la Lavande. Continue along Rue du Curcuma and, at the end, turn left to reach the wash house in the hamlet of Les Bouillons.
(5) Pass the Bouillons wash house, then follow the road uphill. Turn right quickly onto the path at the next intersection. Then turn left onto the white path uphill, then right to reach the first houses in the hamlet of Les Mougnauds. Follow Rue des Chaumes de la Grange for 150 metres, then turn left onto Champ du Lac and continue straight ahead to reach the D105.
(6) Continue left on the D105 for about 300 m before turning right onto the road. Cross Rue du Champs de Grelet to take Voie La Besse (ignore the road on the left). Pass the first house on the right and you will come to a fork.
(7) Turn onto the path on the left, before the hill and the other houses in the hamlet. Continue along the path, passing the hamlet of L'Épinette on the left.
(8) At the end of the path opposite Lavoir des Chirons, make a quick first turn left then right, carefully taking Rue de la Fontaine de Lirat. Continue for a few metres, then turn right onto the narrow path. Turn right at the next intersection and continue along the forest path to reach Rue Jean Mermoz, on the edge of the Brie Champniers airport runway.
(9) Turn left onto the road, then a little further on, turn left onto a path near the airport infrastructure. Continue straight ahead on this path, along the edge of the fields, then turn right at the road, uphill (Rue Ludovic Trarieux).
(10) At the top of the hill, after the trees, leave the tarmac and take the path on the left. Follow the path to the end, crossing through the woods. This may include some technical sections (downhill sections on a stony path).
(11) At the small road, near the houses, turn right and continue uphill. At the end of the path, turn right onto the D23 and, at the three-way junction that follows, keep left. Quickly turn left onto the path and continue straight ahead until you reach the N10 interchange, Rue des Plantiers, near the village of Argence.
(12) Turn right, go under the bridge, towards Montignac/Vars/Argence, and reach the entrance to the village of Argence. Continue through the village and turn left onto Rue des Moulins. After a right-hand bend, then a left-hand bend, you will reach No. 180.
(13) Take the white path on the left, keep left, then turn right at the next fork. Continue downhill to an intersection at No. 4, after passing Combe du Moussi.
(14) Take Chemin des Glaïeuls on the left, then turn right and arrive at a crossroads.
(15) Cross the hamlet of La Rivière to climb Rue des Lys, located near the Bois de Denat. Leave the road by turning onto the path on the right, in the Bois de Denat (narrow path), a few metres before the Denat town sign. Then turn left to leave the woods and reach the first houses on Chemin des Primevères.
(16) Opposite no. 183, turn right (Rue des Orchidées), then left onto the white path. Continue, ignoring the path on the right that goes downhill, and join a small road on the left.
(17) Continue along the path on the right, walk alongside the vineyards, then turn right and go downhill. Then turn left and continue along the road until you reach the bridge over the N10 (slightly uphill road with a bend).
(18) Pass under the bridge and continue straight ahead, following the dual carriageway below. The path is clear on the first section along the edge of the fields, then wooded after the bend on the left at the top, reaching the Treuil district.
(19) At the roundabout, take Rue de la Croix Rompue opposite, which goes uphill. Go down Boulevard du Grand Plantie to No. 1.
(20) Take the hairpin bend to the left onto the small grassy path after the safety barrier. Reach Route des Fours à Chaux, cross it and take Rue des Fontenelles, which starts on the right. At the roundabout with the "pyramid", take the second exit, Rue de la Chaume, at the corner of No. 257, between two rows of buildings.
(21) At Place des Chaumes, continue straight ahead onto Rue des Jardins and continue to the end of Rue du Moulin Neuf. Turn right onto Route du Gond-Pontouvre, then continue to the roundabout crossed by the D1000.
(22) Take the white road uphill, running alongside the industrial estate, called "Chemin des Diligences", and follow it to the end to reach the housing estate on the heights of Ruelle, Rue de Bellevue, on the edge of the N141.
(23) Go down Rue de Bellevue, then turn right onto Rue de Beauregard. Reach the Seguins footbridge by turning right onto the main road, "Route de Gond-Pontouvre", after going down Rue de Beauregard. The path to the footbridge is 300 metres further on, on the left.
(24) Cross the footbridge over the Touvre to reach Rue de la Marne. Follow it for 150 metres, then turn left to rejoin Rue des Seguins, which you took at the start (S/E).
