Departure from Port Elizabeth on School Road.
(S/E) Proceed with caution along the road, which has no hard shoulder or pavement: drive on the left, as in the UK.
(1) Take the road on the left at the secondary school, then the one on the right. The climb is gentle and easy. You will arrive at the crossroads after the Pentecostal church.
(2) Turn left. The walk continues along a dirt track with a few houses along the edge.
(3) Head right along the path, which then enters a small wood and leads to a concrete road. The viewpoint is on the left on a small hill. The area is equipped for picnics. There is even a shelter and a rubbish bin. You can enjoy the view of Saint Vincent and, behind you, Île à Quatre and Canouan.
(4) Return by continuing along the concrete road. Then pass through Spring Estate, an area with a succession of beautiful properties.
(5) Pass by the small Spring Beach: pretty but full of sargassum. Return to the starting point.
(2) Retrace your steps to return to the starting point (S/E).
