Departure from the sports centre along Drève Olympique.
- Access by public transport via the terminus of tram 81 (Marius Renard): continue in the direction of the tram until you reach a roundabout and turn left onto the road that climbs very slightly.
- By car: enter 'Rue du Lièvre' Anderlecht into your satnav and, when you reach the roundabout, continue straight ahead for 250 metres to park your car.
(S/E) Continue along the road, which slopes very slightly upwards, pass the small roundabout and keep to the left.
(1) When you reach the clubhouse of the 'Yeti' artificial ski slope (built on the embankments of the metro), take the path on the left. Continue until you reach the R0 ring road.
(2) Under the ring road, observe the graffiti on the bridge pillars. These works are regularly replaced by new ones, with the exception of a few that are left untouched.
Continue under the ring road and turn left, going around the pond on your right.
At the end of the path, you will come to the Étang de Pede. Cross the road and head left, following the pond on your right until you reach a bridge on your right.
(3) Do not cross the bridge on the right, but take the semi-concrete path straight ahead. At the top of the path, take the paved road on the left and pass by the golf course.
At the end of the road, turn right, pass in front of the golf clubhouse and continue to the bridge.
(4) Do not cross the bridge, but turn right onto the path that descends, pass through the golf course, cross an asphalt road and continue along the slightly descending path. At the end of the path, take the asphalt road on the left.
(5) 50 metres after passing under the high-voltage power lines, just after a copse, take the path on the right.
Point of interest: a pond preserved for its flora and fauna on your left.
Just after the pond, climb the hill and continue on the left.
When you reach the bridge over the railway, do not cross the bridge but take the small path downhill on your right.
The path runs alongside the railway tracks (Brussels-Ghent) until you reach a paved road, where you should turn right (in front of the gas decompression station).
(6) In front of the gas station, turn right, continue to the crossroads and take the road on the right (Koeivijver).
After about 200 metres, find and take the path on the left that crosses the fields. It is very grassy and leads you to the Heymans farm (on your left) and Rue de Neerpede, which runs alongside the Neerpedebeek stream.
(7) Turn left and continue to the crossroads with Rue du Pommier (brasserie restaurant 'De Notelaar').
(8) At Rue du Pommier, there is a three-way junction ahead of you. Follow the path on the right (slight uphill). Pass the dog training club, the organic market gardeners' fields and arrive at a paved road (T) which you take on the left.
At the junction with Rue de la Délivrance (on your left), continue for about ten metres and take the path on the right. At the end of the path, take the path on the left. It ends in a descent leading to a road, which you should take on the left.
Keep to the left and continue to Rue de la Délivrance, which you crossed earlier. Turn onto it and go down to Rue du Pommier (take the path on the left).
(8) Cross the road and walk downhill for 100 metres to reach the junction with Rue du Froment. Take the paved path on the left (marked by a large rock in the middle of the entrance).
At the end, you will see the 'In den Appelboom' inn on your left.
Turn right onto the path that forms a right angle and descends to the level of the Neerpedebeek.
(9) When you see the rugby field, take the path on the right to reach a road. Continue to the right and you will arrive at the 'Maison Bleue et Verte' (information centre).
Walk along the pond, keeping it on your right.
(10) Reach the Drève Olympique car park by turning right along the pond. (S/E).
