Start : Musgrave Park, Finaghy, Belfast (BT9 7HZ)
(S/E) From the Highway to Health map board continue along the path into the park, right (North-East). After 150 m or so, when you see a car park in front of you, keep following the main paved path to your left (North-West) along the side of the bowling greens.
(1) At the next junction, keep left (North-West), this path will lead you to a round flower bed with a standing stone feature in the centre. Take the path on your left. Soon you will pass the one kilometre marker post. Continue round the lower part of the park – the path sweeps round to another car park on your left where you ignore the turn and keep walking around the park, then go past another entrance gate at Stockman’s lane.
(2) Go straight on at this junction and follow a smaller meandering path through the trees and spring bulb displays. Take a left turn, pass the back of the bowling pavilion on your left-hand side this time, and it will lead you back onto the main path leading to the hospital grounds at waypoint (1)
''However, taking another left turn at the black gates to the front of the bowling green makes for an interesting diversion to Grovelands. Once you have explored Grovelands, retrace your steps."
Otherwise, walk back to the car park retracing your step. (S/E)
