Jeju Island: Hado Beach, Jimi Bong and Al Oreum

Horseback ride between Jeju Olle 21 and 1. The climb up Jimi Bong is through the woods. It is short but challenging. The view from the top is spectacular. Panoramic view of the entire coast, Udo Island, Ilchulbong Crater, and Al Oreum Crater (our next destination). Descend through the woods via steps, then walk along the coast for a while before crossing the village of Jongdal (mini-market and restaurants) and passing through farmland bordered by volcanic stones, before starting to climb towards the easily accessible summit of Al Oreum. Return via the same route, skirting Jimi Bong to the west, before enjoying a well-deserved swim at Hado beach, and even a gourmet break at the Gaviota café (tried and tested) if needed.

Departure from Hado Beach.

Parking spaces nearby. Cross the seawall, turn right at Gaviota Café, then follow the markings (2 banners or arrows: blue/orange).
