Description of the walk

Start at the Creag National Nature Reserve car park, off A86 >>>

(S/E) Leaving the car park, head northwest up the track, up to the farmhouse (1), check the notice board for any alerts. Continue up the track; it will be a gentle climb at first, up to the stile over the hedge.

(2) The route will now become steeper and work its way through the vegetation. There are rest points to enjoy the view. As height is gained, the path will lead into a wooded area. Keep to the app taking the path to the left; there is a route that goes right. As the path emerges through the trees, the sheer mountainside will be apparent.

(3) This next section along the path has no defined features. The next waypoint will be the Lochan. Use the path and app as guidance. Be mindful of the weather and temperatures as they drop. Continue along the path to (4), which will follow alongside the mountain and then drop down to the Allt Coire Adair, river running out of the Lochan.

(4) The route back to (E) is in reverse. (4) to (E).
