Pembrokeshire Coast Path

Itinéraire inspiré de Lonely Planet du sentier côtier du Pembrokeshire (le découpage en étapes est de moi). Je ne l'ai pas encore fait mais le journaliste qui a écrit l'article et les photos montrent de très beaux paysages et de belles rencontres avec la faune. A faire d'avril à octobre, sinon il pleut et il fait froid.

   St Dogmael – Newport

   This is Stage 1 of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path: starting in St Dogmael and finishing in Newport. To reach the starting point, you can travel by train or bus from London.

   Newport – Fishguard

   11.94 mi 1,965 ft 1,916 ft

   Stage 2 of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path: starting in Newport and finishing in Fishguard. The first few stages, including this one, are a bit long, but if you get tired, there are several accommodation options along the route to help you shorten the stage.

   Fishguard – Abercastle

   16.49 mi 2,224 ft 2,224 ft

   Stage 3 of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path: starting in Fishguard and finishing in Abercastle. The stage begins in town but you soon leave it behind. A ferry runs from Fishguard to Ireland (Rosslare), offering the chance to take a 2–3-day trip there.

   Abercastle – St Justinian’s

   Stage 4 of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path: starting from Abercastle and finishing at St Justinian’s. If this stage is too long, it can be shortened thanks to the various accommodation options along the path.

   St Justinian’s – Solva

   Stage 5 of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path: starting from St Justinian’s and finishing in Solva. This stage is shorter than the previous ones, but offers the option of a detour to St Davids to visit the shops.

   Solva – Broad Haven

   11.70 mi 2,070 ft 2,080 ft

   Stage 6 of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path: starting in Solva and finishing in Broad Haven. There are several accommodation options at the finish, and you can continue the stage to Little Haven (1 km) depending on which option you choose.

   Broad Haven – Dale

   Stage 7 of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path: starting from Broad Haven and finishing at Dale. If this stage is too long, you can shorten it by stopping at the campsite near Wooltack Point, especially as the next stage is short.

   Circular route from Dale

   6.94 mi 495 ft 502 ft

   Stage 8 of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path: a circular route starting and finishing in Dale. This short stage is roughly halfway along the route, giving you a chance to recover a little. You can choose to skip it and carry on straight to the next stage, or take a full day’s rest, depending on how tired you are.

   Dale – Milford Haven

   Stage 9 of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path: starting from Dale and finishing in Milford Haven. The end of the stage is in town, so you need to stay alert. There are various shops where you can stock up on supplies.

    Milford Haven - Pembroke

    Étape 10 du sentier côtier du Pembrokeshire : départ de Milford Haven et arrivée à Pembroke. Une bonne partie de l'étape est urbaine, mais des hébergements en camping sont possibles à la sortie de Pembroke.

    Etape 11 du sentier côtier du Pembrokeshire : départ de Pembroke et arrivée à Angle. Bien profiter du passage à Pembroke pour se ravitailler, les prochaines étapes sont moins urbaines ; il y a quand même un pub à Angle.

    Etape 12 du sentier côtier du Pembrokeshire : départ d'Angle et arrivée à Bosherston. Une longue étape qu'il est possible de raccourcir un petit peu en coupant au départ par la route qui traverse Angle.

    Etape 13 du sentier côtier du Pembrokeshire : départ de Bosherston et arrivée à Manorbier. Etape plus courte que celle de la veille, l'arrivée à Manorbier donne accès à diverses possibilités d'hébergements et aux commerces.

    Etape 14 du sentier côtier du Pembrokeshire : départ de Manorbier et arrivée à Amroth. Dernière étape du parcours, la proximité de Saundersfoot facilite l'accès aux transports (bus, gare de Kilgetty).
