Truso Gorge
The hike in the Truso Gorge follows an easy and relatively flat trail of about 20 km round trip, from the village of Kvemo Okrokana to the ruins of Zakagori, near the military zone. The route passes through volcanic landscapes, colourful mineral springs, abandoned villages such as Ketrisi, stone towers and cave monasteries. Accessible without a guide, but close to a controlled border area.
