Park in the car park at Sept Saulx Town Hall.
(S/E) Take Rue de l'Église towards the church. Walk alongside the 13th-century Saint Basle Church.
Also look out for the British tombs.
Continue straight towards the Vesle river: follow Rue de la Tour, then turn left onto Rue du Moulin.
Continue to the Rue de la Libération crossroads.
(1) Take the street on the right, then the path running parallel to the Canal de l'Aisne à la Marne.
Follow this long path below the canal, then walk along the wall of Courmelois Castle. In Courmelois, turn right onto Rue du Château and follow the curve to the left onto Rue Jeanne D'Arc.
You will arrive at the 12th and 13th century Church of Courmelois.
(2) Turn right onto Rue Lapie-Henrion. Follow this street and cross the Vesle. See the studio of sculptor Christian Lapie (unmissable on the right). You will arrive at the edge of the marshes and fields.
(3) Take the path on the right (heading south-east). At the first three-way junction, turn right and continue heading south-east. Then continue straight ahead through the woods until you reach the Vesle river. Follow the path that turns eastwards to leave the woods at the wall of Sept Saulx castle.

(4) Turn right and follow the road to Sept Saulx.
Head towards the centre and the town hall (S/E).
