Long Walking Route

On this beautiful walk you will pass The Iveagh Gardens which was designed by Ninian Niven in 1865 but with a history dating back 300 years. The gardens are located close to St Stephen's Green park. It was awarded a green flag as many of the original landscape features are still in place today or have been restored and conserved since 1995. These include the yew Maze and the rosarium and also the fountains. The cascade in particular is stunning and definitely worth a visit in the summer months.
The Iveagh gardens are also known as Dublin's Secret Garden.
