Description of the walk

Park your car in the car park near the Saint-Léger-du-Bois church, opposite the post office.

(S/E) Head North towards Igornay, and immediately after the Drée bridge, turn right.

(1) Stop at the fork immediately below to learn all about oil shale. Continue right towards Puits des Fourneaux.

(2) At the old mine, take the time to read the explanations about the old shaft and the headframe that still stands there. Then continue East/North-East and turn into the first track on the right.
At the former Moulin de Sully, return to the tarmac road. Turn right at the crossroads to Château de Sully.

(3) Pass through the village of Sully, taking Rue du Château, Rue Silius and Rue du Bourg in turn, until you reach the D26 road (Rue du Reuil d'Eze). Cross the main road and follow Rue de la Croix Marchaux for 200 metres.

(4) Turn right onto the "voie verte" (greenway), which initially runs alongside the D26, then leaves it and continues for over 2km to reach the D107.

(5) Turn right to reach the car park (S/E).
