Thailand walks
Hin Lat Waterfall
This mainly flat trail runs alongside the river and takes you to Hin Lat Waterfall in about 40 minutes. To return, follow the same path in reverse. There are several places where you can swim.
Khun Si Waterfall
A short walk that will take you to Khun Si Waterfall and a viewpoint overlooking the island, weather permitting. It is a remote location and therefore very peaceful. The path includes a few steps. Please take care not to slip.
Lam Nam Kok and Huai Kael waterfall
A fantastic loop in the middle of the jungle with a wide trail for 80% of the hike.
The waterfall halfway through is worth the detour!
The trail is generally quite wide and does not require any technical skills. Be careful of the intense heat of Southeast Asia.
Crying Dog Waterfall
This circuit is just the start of a longer walk. The hike ends at this small waterfall, but the path continues much further. This is a perfect short hike to combine with a visit to the famous Wat Phrathat Doi Sutherland temple, which is right next door.
The first third of the hike is on a road and isn't very interesting. However, the rest is a paradise for hikers, with a unique, wide trail through dense forest.
