Start : The start here is from the first stairs of Kali Strata, you can also start from Horio or directly from the windmills (stop of the bus Symi harbor - Pedi). It is a bit harder than the one from Pedi but it gives a really nice view of Symi Harbor on the way.
(S) From the first stairs of Kali Strata near Trata tavern, start climbing the stairs until the right angle turn (around 330m from the start).
(1) Just after the right angle turn left, there is a few stairs on the left and a small path to join a concrete road.
(2) Turn left again, always climbing to the windmills and a junction.
(3) you reach the asphalt road (Symi - Panormitis) that you cross to continue on a concrete road along the windmills until you reach a sort of metallic fence gate (the ones you see often to keep the goats and sheep in their fields) that you need to cross and close after.
From there you need to follow the marking. There are red and blue points, mainly the red ones are visible and maintained but it is pretty easy to follow until the beach. If at some point you are unsure of being on the path just stop and look for the next red marking.
You need to arrive at Agia Marina on the left side (looking at it) of the beach, there is a door on both side of the beach but the other one is for the path to/from Pedi. (E)
You can take the exact same way to come back or the taxi boat when they run, check before your hike if the taxi boats are running that day, wind or other can stop the traffic for a day. You can also come back by the path to Pedi and take the bus there if you want or walk to Horio and take the Kali Strata down.
