Did this local walk on Friday afternoon after having a MASSIVE vanilla at The Boathouse. (needed to walk this off!). I would suggest that the walk is done in reverse as when returning along the levee you are elevated and walking against the prevailing wind. The canal is a lot more sheltered. Also the walk describes the path under the railway bridge a slippy when in fact it is Very muddy and wet. This could be all the time as we haven't had any rain of note in the preceding days.
Overall though a gentle 2 - 3 hours stroll but make sure you have walking shoes on.
