(S/E) Set off from The Three Blackbirds, turning right along the road. (Ditton Grn)
(1) Then right again by the water tower. Follow this path down hill and round some stables. Stay on the path until trees break on the right and you follow the track uphill until you reach the Woodditton Road.
(2) Go right then immediately left down Maypole Lane. Take time to visit the Church on your right before continuing to Church Hall Farm North on your left and up the public footpath just past the farm gate. Continue by a single house and through a gate onto the Gallops.
(3) Passing by the neatly trimmed hedges turn right when the hedge breaks. Do not take the tempting route straight ahead. Continue to School Road.
(4) At the road, go right, then left up Parsonage Farm Lane and continue up here past the wedding venue, bearing left onto a dirt track.
(5) After around 2Km (half an hour) you reach a T junction in front of a wood (Lucy Wood). Go right and cross an open field to the far end and then straight ahead to the Kirtling Road.
(6) Go right along the road until you take an obvious track into the wood (Ditton Park Wood) on your left. Follow this path until a T-junction.
(7) Turn right continuing along the path to the water tower and a drink at The Three Blackbirds pub. (S/E)
