Park at Orchard View Farm.
(S/E) Proceed out of Orchard View Farm towards Owlswick (South-West). (This 300m is on the road so please take care).
(1) As the road bends round to the left, take the track on the right of the bend (West). Once far enough away from the road, this is suitable for well-behaved dogs to explore, beware livestock do graze in some of the adjoining fields!
(2) At some stage, around Little Acre Farm, you will arrive at a footpath on the left, take this (South-East) and proceed across the fields. This path takes you close to a number of dwellings so please respect these properties and keep dogs on leads.
Follow the path straight ahead passing Manor Farm. Carry straight on (South-East). Cross Bar Lane straight ahead. The path will eventually bend left (North-East) reaching a lane.
(3) Cross the lane straight ahead and walk straight (North-East) until you reach Stockwell Lane. Cross Stockwell Lane, turn right (South-East) and walk along for a short distance. Please note that cars do travel quickly along this road and caution should be exercised. This is well worth it as the village of Meadle is stunning.
(4) To the next road junction you may wish to deviate at taking in the rest of the village by going straight ahead before retracing your steps and re-joining the planned route here.
Otherwise, turn left (North-North-East) here now. When you reach a Y junction, keep left (North-West) then right on the footpath at Quakers Farm.
(5) Walk across fields (North-West) until you reach Kimblewick Road.
(6) Turn left (South-West) on Kimblewick Road and walk back down the road until you reach the junction with Stockwell Lane where you turn right (West) to take you back to Orchard View Farm gate.
Kimblewick road is mainly used by farm traffic and generally quiet especially during the summer evenings. (S/E)
