Magor has a good car park with nice village centre - pub and 2 cafes. We measured the walk at just over 6 miles or 10km, so the previous reviewer who said the walk was 10 miles might have been measuring in kilometres. The walk was more interesting than we were expecting. The church at Redwick is well worth a visit, as is the Magor Marsh nature reserve on the way back to Magor. We stopped for lunch when we reached the estuary and there were plenty of birds to watch including geese, herons and egrets as well as the inevitable gulls. This is an easy walk so good when you're not feeling too energetic!

This walk is advertised at 6.15 miles. We didn't get lost or devoured from route. We parked in the town where it was suggested to park and walk measured just short of 10 miles. Good scenery along the way. Lovely pub at Renwick and interesting church
