Description

Depart from the car park just after Glen Prosen Lodge.

(S/E) Follow the main road until it ends at the Keeper's cottage (200 yards). Follow the track to Kilbo Ruin. This has been rebuilt as a lunch hut. (Approx. 1 hour).

(1) At Kilbo Ruin, keep to the left of the river and walk up Broom Hill via Balquidder. Follow the quad bike track. Turn right at the top of the sneck to ascend Broom Hill. Keep right of the track to see the views down into the White Glen and look over the cliff face of Craig Haig.

(2) Follow round to the top of the White Glen and follow the burn down to Kilbo Ruin via the waterfall.

(1) From Kilbo Ruin, walk back to the car park.(S/E)
