Description

Start : Brighton Baths Health Club and sea pool car park, 251 Esplanade, Brighton VIC 3186, Australia

(S) With your back to Brighton Baths Health Club entrance, turn right and walk along the paved footpath along the beachside (South). Keep walking along the beachside with the water on your right-hand for around 900m until you see a toilet building on your left-hand. On the way, enjoy the view of kite-surfer playing along.

(1) As you pass the toilets, you can see the first beach house in front of you. Walk towards it, ignoring the road going up left along Brighton Lifesaving club. You are now walking on the sand. From here, enjoy the view of the famous colorful Middle Brighton Bathing Boxes. Carry on walking in front of them towards the beach end.

(2) There is a little slope curving left in between two wooden posts to reach a second beach. Walk to the end of this second beach towards the bank and parking on the hill in front of you. Walk up the bank.

(3) When you reach the top (Brighton Beach Gardens), walk towards the picnic table to enjoy an incredible view of Melbourne skyline and the curve created by the beach houses. This is an ideal spot for sunset. When you finished enjoying the view, keep walking South with the waterside right and the car park left towards the viewing platform.

(4) After enjoying the view of Brighton beach, you can return the same way. Otherwise, take the train from Brighton Beach station located a few steps further on your left to Melbourne Central or Middle Brighton train station. (E)
