Park in the free car park for Edenbrook Country Park at GU51 5DW.
(S/E) With your back to the houses walk down the bank and follow the path for 50m. You will come to a whole in the hedge by a tree. Turn left here and follow the track across the meadow. Continue on past a hedge and the track will bend slightly right keeping close to a hedgerow on your left.
(1) As the hedge ends you join the official path which continues in the same direction before bending to the right and then left to a bridge over the stream. You will see the farmhouse to your right.
(2) Do not cross the bridge, take the narrow path beside the stream until you come out on the road. Cross the road at an angle to a drive. You will see the footpath sign which directs you in front of the bungalow and across the meadow.
(3) Turn right when you reach the road. Walk 100m along the road. You will come to a drive with a footpath sign. Turn into the drive and follow it to just beyond the last house on the right 150m.
(4) Just beyond the last house on your right, turn left and follow the footpath across a small field and then over a stile in a large field. Head diagonally at about 11 o'clock across the field for 300m. Follow the track through the gap in the trees and around and between 2 houses. Just after the 2 houses, there is a gate on your left. Go through and follow the track over stiles or gates until you come out onto a large field.
(5) Head diagonally across this field to the house in the distance, heading to the right of the house. Walk down the side of the drive onto a wider track and follow it to the canal bridge. Walk over the bridge and enter Dogmersfield Park through a white gate. Follow the track to Tundry Pond and around the near shoreline. Turn left at the end and after 100m choose the path that hangs right. At the entrance gate, the path turns slightly right.
(6) Exit through a kissing gate into Spratts Hatch Lane. Turn left and follow the track round to the right which will come to the canal bridge. Cross the canal bridge and turn immediately right onto the canal towpath. Follow the canal path for 1.2 miles.
(7) At the Spratts Hatch Lane Bridge, leave the towpath turning left onto the lane. At the Barley Mow Pub turn slightly right ignoring the immediate right turn and walk 100m down the road. Turn right onto a signposted footpath which navigates between 2 fields often used for horses. Follow this track through a copse where it bends right, then between copse and trees to a gate.
(8) Once through the gate turn right and follow the edge of the field to the stile with the farmhouse in front of you. Turn left and walk over the wooden farmer's bridge. Turn left here and you are then back on the path that you began with. Follow this back to the car park at Edenbrook Country Park.(S/E)
