Start at Featherstone Library, parking available.
(S/E) Turn right and walk up Station Lane and over the railway level crossing passing the War Memorial to the Featherstone Hotel.
(1) Turn left after passing the Featherstone Hotel and walk down Green Lane to the end of the allotments on your right. Turn right, follow the path past the allotments to a small lake. Take the diagonal right hand path, which follows the drainage ditch through the trees and walk as far as a small stone bridge. Turn right and follow the path alongside a housing estate on your right hand side.
(2) Emerge onto Featherstone Lane, turn right and cross the road at the zebra crossing. Walk to the next main road junction which is known locally as Cressy’s Corner.
(3) Turn left into Halfpenny Lane and then right into South View. Pass over the railway level crossing and follow the path past Featherstone Rovers Rugby Ground.
(4) Follow the path past the allotment gardens and turn right into Victoria Street. Complete the walk by returning to the Library.(S/E)
