Description

Start : Start at the National Trust car park at White Park Bay just off the A2 between Ballycastle and Bushmills. (BT54 6NH)

(S/E) Start at the National Trust car park and follow the path and some steps down towards the beach.

(1) When you reach the beach, turn left (West) and walk along the Cayseway Coastal Way.

(2) At the end of the beach, or strand, hug the bottom of the cliffs making your way carefully over the rocks and boulders to Portbradden.

(3) There’s a little yellow sign just beyond the salmon fishery – follow that sign onto the narrow path round the headland and from there pick up the blue and yellow Causeway Coast Way markers.

The combination of sea and stone round here has created so many fantastic features.

Continue the walk along the marked way through fields and over wooden stiles and you will eventually arrive at Dunseverick Harbour. (This part goes for along 5 Km)

(4) From Dunseverick Harbour, you can either turn back to White Park Bay along the same path or extend the trip to take in Dunseverick falls and the ruined castle by following the Causeway Coast Way markers.

(5) If you choose to extend your walk, that will be another 2 miles walking in total there and back, but well worth it, still following the Causeway Coast Way markers. (S/E)
