(S) Park in the layby at the end of Dullingham Ley (OS Map 210 Grid ref:655558), then walk along Dullingham Ley southeast to the end of the road. Take footpath straight ahead through gateway. Follow path ahead then round to the right
(1) Turn left in to the wood at the end of the pathway. Through the gateway and on to the kissing gate on the right. Take a left diagonal across the meadow (which sometimes has bullocks in it in the summer) to the furthest point of the trees, heading south-east. At the hedge, continue with the hedge on your left past the first kissing gate and round the bend in the hedge to the second kissing gate. Go through the gate, over the bridge and turn hard right and with the hedge and ditch on your right continue due south. When the hedge stops continue straight on to the stile, into the water meadow..
(2) Go over the next stile and bridge (over the river Stour). Turn left into the next meadow, parallel with the river.
Walk the length of the meadow and over the broken stile next to the converted barn. Turn left on to the track.
Continue alongside the weirs for well over a mile to weir 12 (there is a possibility of seeing kingfishers along the way).
(3) Cross the bridge and bear right at 45 degrees to the edge of the wood, following the path. Continue along the path with the wood on your left. Continue on the same path, there will be wood on your right soon after (Ten Wood).
(4) Just before the end of Ten Wood, there is a path on your left. Take the path, with the ditch on your left. And over the wooden bridge at the end and bear right through the trees. Bear left back to the layby.
