A lovely walk but in winter the path out is VERY VERY MUDDY. We aim to try again in dry weather although today was fine and sunny for January!

The weather was glorious and it was a lovely walk - mixture of walking along the marina, walking through woods alongside the water and walking back through farmland. We are quite elderly and can't walk as far as we used to, so this was a perfect walk - easy, level and not too far. Lovely views of sailing boats on the water and Dell Quay was beautiful in the sunshine. We started late in the morning so had lunch at the Boat Cafe in the Marina at the beginning of the walk - lovely views from the cafe. Were tempted to have coffee and cake at the Hope and Anchor at Dell Quay but we needed to get back home by late afteroon so didn't have time.
