Description

(S/E) Begin at the footpath towards Lapwing Lane off Congleton Lane at the T junction of Congleton Lane and Mill Lane.

(1) Turn right at Lapwing Lane and then turn left into Colt Hovel Wood. Continue to Privet Wood and then Whitecroft Heath Road.

(2) Turn right and then right again at the bend towards Dairy House Lane. Walk past Dingle Bank Quarry and turn right at Catchpenny Lane and then left towards Smith Green.

(3) Take the footpath on the left across fields to Whitecroft Heath Road.

(4) Turn right and continue along Whitecroft Heath road taking the fork left into Whisterfields Lane.

(5) Take the footpath left after Whisterfields House and follow the footpaths alongside Congleton Lane back to the start of the walk.(S/E)
